Role:
Our client is looking for an experienced full/part qualified ACCA/ACA Management/Financial Accountant with a proactive approach. This career opportunity is a rewarding position for a hardworking individual who would enjoy taking full responsibility and owning the role.This position will report into the Head of Finance, responsible for assisting with the efficient running of the finance function. Role includes all month end accounting duties.

Duties:

• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Bank Reconciliations (multi-currency)
• Monthly management accounts
• Reconciliation of suppliers each month
• Accruals and prepayments
• Accrued and deferred income
• Stock, goods in transit and goods in production.
• PAYE reconcilations
• Intercompany reconciliations
• Fixed asset register
• Vat returns including to EU countries and intrastat reporting
• Assist with the leading of accounts staff

Key requirements:

• IT literate with strong/advanced Excel skills
• Strong written and verbal communications skills
• Strong commercial sense
• Proactive and driven approach
• Ability to work quickly under pressure
• High attention to detail
• Quickbooks experience essential
• Must have experience of working in a similar accounting role
• Strong skills in cross border vat and intrastat reporting
