Job Description Primary role purpose: The team assistant will report to the SVP Legal Affairs and will be the organisational lynchpin for the global legal team. They will provide support for the legal staff located in London and Washington DC performing a broad range of tasks to ensure a supportive administrative environment. The right individual will have experience managing multiple priorities in an energetic and logical manner and will need organizational talents, combined with flexibility and tolerance for change. The role will require a natural relationship builder, confident working under their own direction, who engages with internal and external parties in a pleasant and effective way. Key Responsibilities: Understand the priorities and activities of the team and provide appropriate administrative support Arranging meetings and diary management for General Counsel and lawyers Booking travel for the team Administer legal tech including electronic signature, contract management database and legal vendor management system Responsibility for administration of legal department budget, processing invoices and expenses Administrative support for preparation of written materials, PowerPoint presentations and draft correspondence by the team Ad-hoc logistical support - liaise with IT, Telecoms etc. in the event of any issues Handle confidential information with discretion Provide assistance to cover for Exec EAs if required Qualifications Essential Knowledge and Skills: Experience supporting a team of geographically dispersed individuals Excellent PC skills - including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, all MS Office functions and basic database skills Capable of producing quality business presentations and written content Highly organised and ability to reprioritise workload as required to achieve new demands Ability to establish and improve existing systems Highly responsive, “can-do” attitude Confident to work with very little supervision and remote from the team Pro-active communicator and problem solver Previous experience working in a legal environment a plus Previous experience with financial administration a plus Strong interpersonal skills and team spirit Additional Information You must be eligible to work in this location advertised.
