Lead Agent

A newly created opportunity within our client who is looking to appoint an analytical, technically minded Lead Agent to work in their new business team. Previous experience of working within Financial Services (for a product provider or an IFA) would be highly desirable.

The purpose of this role is to provide an efficient service for intermediaries whilst working to improve the quality of business from distribution partners. As the Lead Agent you will use your outstanding analytical skills along with a full comprehension of processes to identify and risks with on-boarding.

Main duties will include

  • Daily monitoring and initial analysis of all alerts
  • Analysis of Distribution Quality Management (DQM) data and score cards against pre-defined metrics
  • Being the first point of referral for other business areas,
  • Attend, as required, Multi Risk Forum (MRF's) telephone conference calls with other members in respect of conduct and debt issues of specific firms
  • Complete analysis of all firms to be discussed during the monthly broker meetings
  • Onboarding of new agencies whilst ensuring that all due diligence checks are completed in line with internal controls and compliance.
  • Work with Finance to investigate large changes in commission levels
  • To assist with contact and correspondence monitoring and undertake quality audits to ensure our quality measures are being adhered to which will highlight training and coaching requirements
  • Handle agency and commission related inbound calls to the adviser line answering enquiries and requests in line with our service level agreements.
  • Be flexible in the face of change and seek to promote and incorporate change
  • Provide technical input for projects as required
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and provide solutions to problems
  • Encourage and support positive team morale
  • Provide the first line of support and escalation to the team for day to day issues and non-reportable complaints to the stage of resolution or escalate to Team Leader, Manager or Complaints Handler where needed
