You must be an effective communicator and confident negotiator in order to deliver extremely challenging rent collection targets. You will be responsible for maximisation of income collection and arrears reduction on a diverse caseload.
Duties include ensuring that tenants and customers receive prompt and accurate advice regarding their accounts, to undertake home visits to discuss arrears and debts, negotiate repayment options, to give initial welfare benefits advice, and to keep clear records of all actions taken.
Previous experience of working with the public in a similar capacity is essential as is a good working knowledge of database systems, account management, welfare
