Front End Engineer

We use video games based on psychology and language alongside analyses of video and speech to make mental health assessments faster, more accurate and objective.Currently, the way that clinicians assess mental health issues, and in particular depression, is based on inaccurate, highly subjective questionnaires that are uncomfortable to go through and have remained the same for decades. Finding the right treatment is based entirely on trial and error and can take years. We’re here to change all of that. Leveraging cutting edge Neuropsychology, Linguistics and affective machine learning, our multimodal depression recognition and monitoring system empowers clinicians so they can find the right treatment in a matter of weeks instead of years. What’s more, we make the entire process fun and engaging for the patient. If you want to read more about thymia: [The Big Idea: can a smartphone game help monitor depression?](https://sifted.eu/articles/thymia-depression/)Thymia is an equal opportunity employer.
