About the role:
Our Engineering Apprenticeship is an exciting, challenging four-year programme that will give you the skills, knowledge and behaviours to become an Engineer maintaining some of the newest and fastest production lines.
The apprenticeship is a mix of college based and working on-site. From day one you’ll be earning an attractive salary and gaining real hands-on experience working with a diverse team, forward-thinking people, and well-known brands. When you complete your apprenticeship, you’ll achieve a Level 3 Food and Drink Maintenance Engineer Apprenticeship, with the potential to study level 4 and beyond.
What you’ll need:
· A lateral thinker – technically minded with an interest in how things work
· An aptitude towards hands on work and a strong interest in engineering
· The ability to work within a team while supporting and learning from those around you
· Excellent creative problem-solving skills with an eagerness to learn
· The ability to use your own initiative
· Strong communication skills
· Vision, inclusive and the drive to keep on learning
· Practical, self-motivated and conscientious in meeting demanding targets and deadlines while following best practice standards
· You must have 5 GCSEs, including grades 4-9/A-C, or equivalent in maths and English and science
