Digital Analytics Manager

As we enter one of the most exciting times in our history we are looking for a Digital Analytics Manager that oozes our Virgin values!Our product analytics team is very hands-on and strategic, with lots of scope to make an impact. Your analysis and recommendations will directly support product decisions towards our Optimisation strategy.Experience of working in an online technical environment (yet commercial) is highly desirable. We are specifically looking for curious, big-picture thinkers who can also deep dive into the details, as well as proactive, eager, self-motivated qualities.You will be working in our Digital Personalisation squad with a specific focus on existing web journeys to help solve our business problems. You will be working to track, analyse and improve these journeys in order to improve the customer experience through personalised experiences.  You will work in a fast paced eCommerce / agile environment.*This is a varied role in which you will get involved in:** Lead and mentor a team of analysts (direct reports: 1-2 initially with a view to grow)* Plan and prioritise your teams focus to best achieve our team OKRs* Discovery: You will proactively use BigQuery and deep understanding of an area to detect product opportunities, problems and experiment ideas / hypothesis generation* Recommendations: Not only will you be required to explore the data; we expect you to provide insights and recommendations to the Product teams / Squads* Reporting and visualization: Your presentation of data will help product teams make the right data-driven decisions, allowing them to self serve and interpret data quickly, easily and accurately* Building dashboards and reporting on cross-device user behaviour to identify opportunities through out the Sales funnel* Data standardization: Collaborating with a number of different teams, you will work towards achieving our data governance standards* Experimentation: Working closely with our Digital Data Systems and Data Science team, you plan experiments and tests which you’ll seek to automate and scale* Data standardization: Collaborating with a number of different teams, you will work towards achieving our data governance standards*In order to be considered for this role, you’ll need the following:** Relevant work experience in a Product Analytics Management role, with significant Web or App product exposure, ideally within a large or complex organisation* Experience building data teams, preferably in a scale-up environment* Relevant work experience in a web analytical role with AB testing / MVT* Strong SQL skills essential* Data visualization experience, ideally using Looker/DataStudio or similar* Logical analytical problem solver with great attention to detail* Proactive self-starter who is curious about how to get the most from our data* Ability to confidently engage their peers and stakeholders* Strong communication, influencing and presentation skills*Ideally, we’d also like:** Experience analyzing A/B tests* Google BigQuery experience* Reasonable statistical literacy* Google Analytics-* 15% company annual bonus* Macbook* Hybrid working* 25 days' annual leave, plus UK bank holidays* A defined contribution pension scheme, run by Fidelity, matched up to 10%.* Access to wellbeing benefits such as the Unmind App, personal medical cover (which you can opt to upgrade to cover loved ones), and critical illness cover* Your birthday off every year, to treat yourself* The option to buy and sell up to 5 days' leave, to suit your personal needs* Recruiter phone screen* Technical evaluation* Final round* DecisionManagement, Building Teams, SQL, Data Visualisation, LookerManagement, Building Teams, SQL, Data Visualisation, Looker, A/B Testing, BigQuery, Google Analytics
