Corporate Finance Manager - Housing Association

Job Title - Corporate Finance Manager
Salary - upto 65K depending on experience (there might be slight flexibility on this)
Location - North London (flexible working allowed 2 days in the office)

The B+C Housing finance team are looking to recruit a Corporate Finance Manager for a reputable London housing association who have recently undergone a restructure within their finance team.

The role will be responsible for ensuring the effective financial management of the corporate finance function within the scope of the business plan, manage funding capacity and treasury. The role will have key involvement to own the development accounting, manage the corporate business plan and ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory and internal requirements.


Key responsibilities include:
*Partner with the Development Team to ensure investments are appraised, deliver the required financial returns and are managed within the overall Business Plan capacity.
*Manage train and develop a team of 4 Accountants across corporate finance.
*Manage the delivery of the Treasury Strategy including compliance with regulation.
*Manage all covenant compliance and ensure compliance with the Treasury Management Policy.
*Maintain a fully stress tested Business Plan using BRIXX that reflects Corporate Strategy and is compliant with internal measures of financial health.
*Lead on production of all regulatory returns, ensuring complete accuracy and maintaining a strong relationship with our regulatory contacts.
*Manage the securitisation of the asset portfolio, ensuring value maximisation and efficient charging processes are in place.
*Operationally own the completion of all aspects of the accounting for our development team.
*Manage four colleagues as part of the corporate finance function.
*Deputise for the Director of Treasury & Finance for development and treasury matters at internal and external meetings and events.
*Prepare reports for board and other committee meetings.
*Be an active member of the finance and resources management team.

Key Qualifications & Experience
*A CCAB qualified accountant with experience of corporate finance management at a senior level
*An experienced, inspiring and visible business partner who is confident presenting information non-finance staff
*Exposure to Development finance
*Long term business planning, Brixx testing and stress testing
*Exposure to Development finance and analysing the viability of schemes
*Good knowledge of treasury management and funding housing schemes
*Managing staff this role manages 4 reports
*Analysis of long-term financial viability and strategic growth
*Excellent communication experience across a wide range of audiences
*Strong commitment to customer service and overall service excellence
*An understanding of financial management within the housing / property sectors
*Direct experience of the housing sector/ property sector (desirable)
