Associate Manager, Forensic Investigation and Intelligence

Job Description

Associate Manager, Russia & CIS Practice, London-based

Kroll’s Forensic Investigations and Intelligence team is recruiting an Associate Manager to join our Russia & CIS practice. The role is based in London.

As an Associate Manager, you will be responsible either for managing an aspect of a large investigation, or for the case management of all aspects of other assignments. In both cases you will be responsible for conducting research and analysis, structuring reports, managing resources, and presenting conclusions to clients. This is a client-facing role and, as such, you will be expected to build and retain key relationships, and to ensure Kroll exceeds client expectations.

Due to the range of cases that you will manage across various industries in Russia, CIS and Eastern European jurisdictions, a detailed knowledge of these countries – their business and political environment – is key, as is a wider interest in global events and markets.

Fluency in Russian – to conduct research and engage with clients – is required. Professional working knowledge of a second language from the region – either Eastern Europe or other CIS jurisdictions – is highly desirable.

At Kroll, your work will help deliver clarity to our clients’ most complex governance, risk, and transparency challenges. Apply now.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • To gain a deep understanding of case and client needs through discussions directly with the client or taking direction from a senior member of the Forensic Investigations and Intelligence team.

  • Effectively manage case resources including subcontractors and other 3rd party services, ensuring the correct protocols are followed, costs are monitored and accounted for accurately.

  • Monitor the quality of analyst research and analysis on the case, ensuring that Kroll’s high standards are met each time. Provide guidance and feedback on research where necessary.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with 3rd parties involved in the investigation.

  • Effectively feedback case findings to senior members of the practice and monitor quality of own work product and conduct follow-ups with clients or senior members of the practice where necessary.

  • Support the growth of the Russia & CIS Practice through involvement in non-case related projects and initiatives.

  • Build strong working relationships with colleagues across Kroll’s network of offices and various business practices.
