A bit about the role An Assistant Product Merchandiser & Buyer is someone who knows how to help support the Product Merchandiser to build, select and deliver a strong range, test and trial, trade in season and drive growth in all our different markets. You'll need to be a total people person who enjoys working with lots of different teams across our business. The Assistant Product Merchandiser & Buyer will work collaboratively with our super creative Designers to deliver beautiful product, our Planners to make sure we've got our numbers right and our Marketing teams on the next big idea. The need-to-knows As an Assistant Product Merchandiser & Buyer you will: Help support the Product Merchandiser to select and manage our womenswear range, balancing creative and commercial goals Understand trend analysis to recommend translating trend to commercial big ideas, identifying the next big thing Support developing our assortment and pricing strategies Partner closely with our Design and Marketing teams for all our channels Track competitive product information, selling prices, size of range, newness weekly/seasonally and product launches, making relevant recommendations to the Product Merchandiser Be able to analyse sales and trade, identifying opportunities and where we can mitigate risks Understand product attributes to analyse ranges Your experience checklist We're looking for an Assistant Product Merchandiser & Buyer to have: Excellent product sensibility with a strong affinity for Womenwear product Strong communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills High degree of organizing with particular attention to detail and accuracy Strong analytical skills Resourceful, efficient and takes initiative The ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously Proficiency in Microsoft Applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) A bit about you To work at Boden and within our amazing team you will need: Be flexible in your approach and very strong on cross-functional teamwork Have the ability to influence with a positive and proactive attitude Have fantastic attention to detail Have an uplifting outlook and be grounded in your approach Be conscientious, reliable, able to multi task and get ‘stuff' done Here are some of the amazing benefits on offer at Boden: Targeted annual bonus scheme Generous Boden clothing allowance and 30% discount on all current clothing ranges Flexible hybrid working Holiday increase with years of service Group personal pension scheme and life insurance cover 24/7 Virtual GP service for you and your household Free onsite parking, teas & coffee stations and subsidised cafe We want Boden to be the place everyone wants to work.
